Nose Piercing Healing and Aftercare Advice

Nose Piercing Healing and Aftercare Advice

This post is for people who already have their noses pierced and think they are having some sort of healing issue or other problems related to the healing process. If you don’t have your nose pierced yet, please check “Nose Piercing 101” for detailed information thats available for you.

Now for the basics, if you just got your nose pierced, it is perfectly normal for it to be red, swollen, tender, and maybe even a slight bleeding. The whole piercing your nose process is basically an open wound; so that sort of reaction is to expected. If you are worried something about the piercing wasn’t done right, or your nose is still swollen, and red, go back and see your piercer. After all, the piercer has a better idea if it’s infected or was done wrong, or a doctor if it leads to a more serious complications. They are the best at recognizing that sort of thing.
